Terms and Conditions Effective Date: [05/05/2020]                                      These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by THORNBURY AND PEARCE LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom with its principal place of business at 11 PIKEFIELD CRESCENT, CHARLTON, WILTSHIRE SN16 9DQ                                                                                                                         By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.                      1. Services Provided We provide painting, decorating, and related services as agreed upon in writing or verbally with the Client. A detailed scope of work will be provided before work commences.                                                                   2. Quotations and Estimates All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on the information provided at the time. Any changes may result in revised pricing.                          3. Bookings and Deposits A deposit is not required for booking. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. 4. Cancellation Policy Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled start date may result in a cancellation charge of £65.00+vat Rescheduling may be accommodated subject to availability.                                                              5. Client Obligations You must ensure that the work area is clear of furniture or valuables unless otherwise agreed. Access to water, electricity and toilet facilities must be provided.                                                                                    6. Delays and Access We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control (e.g., adverse weather, supplier delays). The Client must provide reasonable access to the site. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.  7. Materials and Finishes We use quality materials appropriate to the task. If you have specific brands or finishes in mind, please let us know in advance. Colour or texture variations may occur due to differences in material batches or lighting conditions.                                                                                                  8. Health & Safety We comply with all applicable UK health and safety regulations. You agree to keep the worksite safe and free from hazards during the project.                                                                                                              9. Insurance and Liability We carry public liability insurance up to £5 million. We are not liable for any pre-existing issues or for damage caused by factors outside our control.                                                                                                10. Complaints and Snagging All complaints or snagging issues must be reported within 7 days of completion. We will make reasonable efforts to address and rectify any issues reported within this period.                               11. Intellectual Property All designs, concepts, and documentation created by us remain our intellectual property unless agreed otherwise in writing.          12. Privacy and Data Protection We handle your personal information in accordance with UK GDPR and Data Protection laws. We do not share your information with third parties without your consent.                                          13. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
